Three injuries reported in crash in Batavia Downs' parking lot

By Billie Owens

A two-car accident with three minor injuries is reported in the parking lot at Batavia Downs on Park Road. Town of Batavia fire and Mercy medics are responding.

You gotta be kidding me... this is news worthy? What were the injuries? Probably all whiplash, so the "injured" can hopefully get insurance to recoup their loses at Batavia Downs... ???

If I hear it on the scanner, unless it's a domestic call, mental health issue, or medical problem, I'll probably post it. Newsworthiness is subjective. This is not an unusual post for us. We seem to be doing well. You have lots of choices Brian.

"You have lots of choices Brian."

I can think of one choice right at the top, and don't let the door knob hit you, where the good lord split you, on the way out.

All parking lots are dangerous. People drive which way and all ways, ignoring all rules and respect for the other drivers.

Frank, here's a hint: Hit the save button only once. Since you're the only person who repeatedly multi-posts, that's my only suggestion. It's not the site.

Brian, you're not the first to say, "it's not news," and, sadly, probably won't be the last. My response. Yawn.

"All parking lots are dangerous. People drive which way and all ways, ignoring all rules and respect for the other drivers."

So true Tom.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were going through the Wegman's parking lot and some turdbrain started backing out right in front of us. I stopped with plenty of room for him to get out of the space, but he still hit us.

Too busy watching the bouncing boobs across from his space. *shrugs*

That Downs parking lot needs to be repaved, then configured so the traffic patterns aren't so haphazard. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents there.

I thought so too Howard, but some of my posts are saving without even hitting the save button at all, and again, it hasn't happened on any other site, so I'm getting a new mouse, the one I now have is quite old, maybe that has something to do with it, not sure what, but I need a new one anyway.
