In the competition for the Senate seat vacated soon by the retirement of Mary Lou Rath, Sen. Rath helped select her successor Mike Ranzenhofer because she wanted to ensure that the work she has so capably done for us would continue. Mike is an ACE. He knows what to do, as he has been a successful leader for the past 20 years in the Erie County Legislature. He has NEVER voted for a tax increase. He will be our watchdog in Albany and will work tirelessly to stop wasteful spending. He will work to double the star rebate and get state mandated measures funded. He is a really nice guy who is intelligent and giving and will serve us well. This is my first blog. I am 77 and my dear cousin lived on Union Street and you may have known him. Lou Alrutz... another really nice guy. I tell you that so those of you in Batavia will have someone to reference my credibility. Batavia is a nice town. Mike will help keep it that way. You can trust him and you can trust me. I am Graylady.
