Wheatland-Chili senior forward was not only the Genesee Region League Player of the Year, and a sectional champion; he was named to the All-Greater Rochester first-team by the Democrat & Chronicle.
Varin led W-C to a 19-4 record and a second consecutive sectional championship, while scoring 27 goals with 13 assists. He finished his high school career with 51 goals and 31 assists.
Teammate Tony Pipitone made the second-team as a goalie.
The GR also had a bunch of honorable mention selections.
