It may not reach Oakfield. The radar map prediction is that it hits Batavia around 1:45 p.m. (we had some flurries in Batavia about 11 a.m.).

The south parts of the county -- Darien, Alexander, Bethany, Pavilion look like they will almost certainly get lake effect snow.

12:10pm and no snow in Indian Falls - thank goodness! Though, we did already receive snow about a week ago. It was only a dusting, but it was snow nonetheless!

Hmmm I saw snow around the end of October here in Batavia, a dusting overnight that melted in the orning but I am looking forward to the first snowfall now. Especially since it is at a more seasonable time :D

I don't mind a little bit of snow, and one can certainly dress for the cold. However, when it keeps snowing and snowing and piles up; it becomes a chore to shovel, scrape, and plow, et cetera.

I'm allways concerned about the elderly. During this up coming Winter, everybody please check on your neighbors and elderly regularly to make sure all is well.

5:11am Saturday morning - There's at least 6" of some mysterious, cold, white substance all over my lawn, driveway and truck. The stuff was still falling from the sky at an undesirable rate. My trek into Rochester for work started @ 4:11am and NONE of the roads I traveled were plowed. East Rd was a disaster and so were Rt 63, E. Bethany Le Roy Rd and Transit Rd into Stafford. The closer I got to Stafford, the snow became less of a problem. Rt 237 to Rt 33 was extremely slippery..black ice under the snow! Once I hit Rt 33 it was smooth sailing into Rochester.
