Trial begins for woman accused of sexually abusing two-year-old
Posted by Howard Owens on November 2, 2009 - 6:56pm
A jury was picked today in the criminal trial of Jennifer L. Ferguson, charged with sexual abuse in the first degree.
The 30-year-old Batavia resident is accused of sexually touching a two-year-old that she was babysitting on Nov. 23. She was arrested in December.
District Attorney Lawrence Friedman said he will start his presentation to the jury on Wednesday, and expects jury deliberation to begin on Thursday.
If convicted, Ferguson could be sentenced to up to seven years in state prison.
There is no court tomorrow because it is a state holiday -- election day.

You don't even know if she's guilty or not and you already want to hang her. This is why we have trials and juries. C'mon Bill, vigilantism and lynchings went out when Rosa Parks refused to sit in the back of the bus.
If she's found guilty then you can say hang the b***h..lol.
How would anyone even know she was touching a 2 year old unless they had a nannycam set up to record the incident? Was someone else participating? It's not like a 2 year old can speak up and explain what happened. I have a lot of questions that need answers before I can condemn her for something that may not have happened.

I know specific details and know whether or not if she's guilty. I'm not going to say them here. This is a public website and what I know will probably be revealed as evidence during the trial. I rather not start the ball rolling here and now.
However, I will answer Doug's question. The two year old's mother walked in on them.
