Weekend Fire

I"m very surprised that nothing has been said here regarding the devastating fire that happened to the Schramm family.  Did I miss something?

I don't have many details regarding the incident, but I do know that these folks have taken foster children into their home for many years.  The information I have is that they have lost everything and this family needs some major help from the community, some of the children have special needs.  Can someone provide info on this site to try to bring them some more help?  Someone so dedicated to helping the children of our community needs our help right now.  Could one of you guys, who do your job well, help to get some more details, and info out there, so those who can help know what to do?

I saw those posts Howard, & I thank you for them! You guys are terrific, really!

My concern is that we need more info on how "we" as a community can try to help these folks, who have been so committed to making life better for so many of our children. More & more people are coming here (visiting the site), looking for info on the "happenings" of the Genesee area. Can you possibly get some info on what this family needs, and where to take it? It would be appreciated.

We'll try again Tuesday. Philip has been working on it, but there has been a lack of available information on how to help.

Thanks Howard, they need "us" right now. Try DSS, maybe you can get more info there. I appreciate all that you guys do.
