Car crash, unknown injuries, at State and Washington in the city

By Billie Owens

A two-car accident, unknown injuries, is reported at the intersection of Bank Street and Washington Avenue. It is not blocking traffic. City fire and Mercy medics responding.

UPDATE 7:12 p.m.: No one was injured in the collision, caused by one vehicle's brake failure.

Geez! Just got to thinking. Maybe one of the 14 Traffic tickets issued during the recent neighborhood enforcement detail was for an uninspected vehicle, and might have caught a vehicle with "bad brakes", thereby stopping an accident like this from happening.
Oops! Sorry!
I forgot, we're supposed to complain about the 'pot' busts by the Gestapo tactics used that day. :>(

Just thankful nobody was hurt.

I drove by the accident last night about 7 PM. The front end clip of one the cars was laying in the middle of the intersection. The other car had it's side panels dented in and crushed.
