Larceny of political signs reported in Village of Elba

A resident at 21 Main St. in the Village of Elba reports the larceny of political signs from his front lawn. Sheriff's deputies are responding to the complaint.

Theft is below us (or at least it's supposed to be).

Just wondering, Greg, if you will feel the same way, should someone steal something that belongs to you.

You're correct, of course. Wait until it's a car, or a snowmobile, or something "worthy" of being reported as larceny. (And, yes, THAT was me, being facetious).

I have had something stolen from me , last year to be exact . I didn't report . And it did have value to it more that a Political sign . My point being value and common sense should come into play when reporting anything to the Police . I'm done with this topic . I'm going to scour Elba for Political signs that are missing .
