Planner – Wyoming County, NY is seeking an entry level Planner with one year experience in or with a municipal governmental planning entity. Skills include the ability to read and interpret site plan blueprints for topography/elevation, storm water runoff, and setback issues, interpret building/zoning code regulations, grant writing, analyze and compile demographic and economic statistical data, perform field studies, knowledge of SEQR regulations, understand basic land use planning and engineering designs, prepare maps, graphs, and charts using all Microsoft Office Applications, GIS and Pictometry software. Minimum qualifications include a four year degree in Urban Planning from an accredited college or university.
