A fundraiser to benefit Patsy Rapone is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at the East Bethany Firehall.

The hall is located at 10440 Bethany Center Road. The event will feature a dice run, food, drinks, live music, a Chinese Auction, 50/50 and other raffles.

The dice run starts at Stan's Harley Shop at 4425 W. Saile Drive in Batavia. Sign up will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and the participants will make five stops and end at the East Bethany Fire Hall. Highest and lowest will win prizes. Cost is $25 per rider and $10 per passenger, which includes the benefit donation.

Tickets will be $15 and kids under 12 pay $5.

Patsy's husband has small-cell cancer and is also battling heart problems. People and organizations throughout the area are helping out with expenses at this critical time. Mr. Rapone is described as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend and club member.
