So not 430, and not 905. Just so the public knows, you can go out as early, or as late as you like. As long as you are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Halloween doesn't have HOURS.

How about when you release your Police Press releases, you release them in the tone of a suggestion and with a hint of RESPECT. Because YOU SERVE US, you dont tell us what hours we can Halloween.
Your going to protect and serve me and my son, for as long as we decide to stay out, because thats your JOB, and its what OUR TAXES pay you for.
Try it like this next time

"The City of Batavia will be having its Halloween celebration tonight October 31st. We encourage all to participate. Suggested hours for trick or treating are between 5pm and 9pm. Drivers and walkers are asked to be especially cautious during this time. Have a safe and happy Halloween."

I've said it before, I've always found it odd that police announce Halloween hours. I never heard of it until I moved here. And if we don't publish the hours, we get calls and emails about "what are the hours?" It's very alien to what I knew for the first 50 years of my life.
