Deaf dog holds police officer at bay

By Howard B. Owens

We didn't catch the location, but this is interesting: A Batavia police officer was dispatched to deal with a loose dog and he now reports that the dog is not letting him out of his patrol vehicle.

A backup unit is dispatched to help deal with the shepherd-white pit bull mix, which is deaf.

There's a video on Youtube showing a dog (I think it, also, was a pitbull, but it's been a year since I saw it), that apparently doesn't want the cop to leave. The dog latches onto the front roll pan of the police car, and manages to rip it off.

Funny - I don't remember seeing any dog rip off ANY parts of, say, a 1958 Buick. Then again, it's awfully tough to sink your teeth into 100-pounds of chrome-plated steel.
