On Saturday, the Batavia Kiwanis Club hosts one of its most popular events, Pancake Days, this time for the 58th consecutive year.

Pancake Days are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ARC Community Center on Woodrow Road, Batavia. The price is $6 for adults, $4 for children 10 and under, and $4 for senior citizens.

Make sure to have diabetic pancake syrup or sugar free for those that can't have the regular syrup. Not having this might make someone who would like to attend not be able to unless they brought their own, Hope it is a huge success as always. Thanking you in advance for all the hard work that is involved with putting this event on and the great food.

Wouldn't do much good Raymond. The starches and carbs in the Pancakes generate ass much if not more sugar.... The body turns those things into sugars and it has a longer impact on diabetics.

Yes I'm aware of the Kyle, as I'm diabetic myself and counting carbs is a daily ritual with me and the Mrs.

I was merely pointing out to Diana that diabetic syrup and sugar free syrup are one in the same product.
