Today's Poll: Should John Kasich drop out of the GOP primary race?

It is unbelievable to me that this is even close.

For starters, I'm not going to vote for a republican - maybe ever - but if I was going to, Kasich is the ONLY person who was EVER in this 'contest' that I would consider voting for.

The fact that someone who has actually been there (in congress and as a governor of a big state) and who speaks reasonably in this debate cannot even get a sniff from his party speaks volumes about what a joke the republican party is.

This poll demonstrates what a clown car the republican party has become and why they will not win the general election.

Jim. They don't need a "good" candidate. All they need is one that will win. They have that. Trump, Cruz, Kasich, or any other Rep./Conservative that runs cannot win. That's already be decided.

Yea, I`ll stick to waiting for the actual election to decide although it looks like we are in trouble no matter who wins from this bunch.

Gentleman's bet, Jim.

I've never figured out the Electoral College, but, donuts to dollars says, whoever runs for the anti-democratic side gets one-half of the "popular" vote. That'll be 33% vs 67%.

Why? Because I've never seen a Repub/Conserv run around on election day picking up voters in vans or busses.

We'll see!

He should stay in for three reasons:
1) The (however small) chance that he wins 8 states, giving him a foot in the door should there be an open convention;
2) He can influence the final ticket and/or platform if he picks up enough delegates;
3) He can set himself up for a 2020 run with a decent and clean showing this year, just like Reagan did in 1976. St. Ronnie may not have won in '76, but that run set him up for '80.
