A good first day for 'The Batavian Club'

posted by Howard B. Owens in thebatavian, Sponsored Post, advertisement.

Billie and I always appreciate running into people around town who shower The Batavian with praise. We always love to know that people appreciate our work.

We've always asked our fans and supporters to help The Batavian thrive by supporting our advertisers, which you all have been great about doing.

Now, to help us grow, we're asking you to support The Batavian through direct financial contributions by joining The Batavian Club.

Today, 19 people signed up, which we find is a pretty great start to getting this new idea going.

Eric, publicly, I don't want to go into detail. I would like to hire more people is the long and short of it. How I allocate those resources will depend on how much revenue from this project comes in, the pace of it, the tactical or strategic opportunities at the time certain critical levels of funding are reached. I would say I have about three different general road maps in my mind and which one to take depends entirely both on revenue and timing.

Thanks for asking.
