I hate it when someone doesn't recognize the serious implications of bullying an 8 year old.
Sorry, George, I can find nothing in this that would merit humor.
That child didn't deserve what she got. She was following the instructions of an adult, her mother.
The trauma, stemming from this incident, will take a long time to heal.

A, B, C D tree, from the forest? I'm a lefty too, I don't think it is funny but I think you are over reactive and I still like you, although I don't know you. Bea is a very fine name, more than worthy of my respect. My mom was a Bea. I'm a son of a Bea, I can't help it.

What is wrong with Shawn Twardowski? Is that how he was brought up when he was a kid? I highly doubt it. He should be put in jail for a few days.

Bea, seriously, trauma? Amy, how do we really even know what actually happened. Things can easily get blown out of proportion. I can remember getting the belt when I was a kid and I don't remember the adult being charged with assault or endangering the welfare of a child. Getting tipped out of a chair and a minor leg injury (scratch, bump?) warrants a criminal charge? Hmmm...the world sure has changed since I was a child.

Where this happened would be relevant to how serious an issue it is. Was it in public at an event or in someone's living room? There's quite a difference.

I bet it happened at yet another of those Mensa meetings i keep missing.

George:"I just assumed it was in church." I don't care what anyone says, that was funny.

I am however in no way condoning dumping a child out of a seat, it certainly didn't help teach the child coping or communication skills and anger management, but trauma? geez

Of course I'm assuming I'd actually be welcome at a mensa meeting.

The only trauma there would have been if that was my child, would be to that jackwagon's face as I put it into a wall. 28 year old child...what movie was that? Cars 2? Harry Potter? No! Winnie the Pooh.

Maybe perceptually, but I don't think the kid who was assaulted by an adult is considering the nuances.

I wonder if the guy was a family member or a stranger. IF a stranger did that to my kid, we'd both be headed to jail.
