Sarah D.Cali, age 86, of Perry, passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.Sarah was born in Rochester, New York on February 22, 1929 a daughter of the late Michael A. and Jennie A. (Pavone) Cali.  She is preceded in death by brothers Alfred and Vincent Cali.

Sarah was a graduate of Monroe High School in Rochester, Nazareth College, and University of South California at Los Angeles , she received her Master’s degree from University of Buffalo. Sarah was a physical therapist having worked for Strong Memorial Hospital, Gowanda Psychiatric Center and retired from Buffalo Psychiatric Center retiring in 1994as a rehabilitation counselor. She was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church ) in Perry where she was involved in many organizations Catholic Women of the Church, Right to Life Committee (past treasurer) Vicariate Counsel and fund raising committee and a National and State member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

She is survived by sister-in-laws  Mary Cali of Grand Rapids, MI., and Joyce Cali of Canandaigua, NY, 2 nieces, 6 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday February 7, 2016 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, New York 14530. The rosary will be recited at 3:45 for Sarah on Sunday. An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 8, 2016 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry.
She will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.
