Murray Hill

Murray Hill, 78 of Basom, passed away on Thursday (February 4, 2016) at Buffalo General Hospital. 

He was born March 27, 1937 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late William and Delphine Blackchief Hill. 

Mr. Hill was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served our country during the Vietnam War. During that time he received the recognition of the Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Expert Rifle Medal. He was retired from the printing Industry in the Buffalo area. Murray was also a member of the Beaver clan. 

Survivors include his brothers, Darwin (Janette) Hill, Malcolm (Melissa Smith) Hill, Hiram Jones and Loren Jones, all of Basom. Sisters, Kathleen Hill of Arizona, Audrey Hill of Rochester and Carrie Cory of Basom. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Tuesday (Feb. 9th) from 1-2pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 JOHN ST., AKRON, NY, where a funeral service will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 2pm. Interment will be in the Tonawanda Indian Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
