Arthur "Bruce" Klossner

Arthur “Bruce” Klossner, 79 of Darien Center, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at his home. He was born May 21, 1937 in Batavia, to the late William (Bernice Yates) Klossner. Mr. Klossner is preceded in death by a brother Alson Klossner.

Mr. Klossner worked for United Airlines in Buffalo for 36 years. He traveled extensively with his wife Elane, enjoyed their trips to Europe and wintered in Florida. Bruce was an avid snowmobiler in his younger years; he played the accordion and enjoyed working on cars. He was a family man that loved being with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife Elane (Rousseau) Klossner of Darien Center; sons Jeffrey (Lisa) of E. Amherst; J. Scott (Lois) Klossner of Rockaway Beach, NY; daughter Laura Klossner of Casselberry, FL; brother Keith (Judy) Klossner of Darien; sister Shirley (Willis) Teachen of Darien; grandchildren Brian (Fiancée Michelle) and Jenna Klossner, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to call on Thursday September 29, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC 135 Main St. Attica, NY 14011. A 1:00 PM Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Darien Cemetery.
