Westermeier-Thomas R., 56 of Darien Center, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Batavia Health Care Center. He was born at Genesee Memorial Hospital in Batavia on June 30, 1960, the son of Robert R. and Shirley M. Westermeier. Tom graduated from Alexander Central School and majored in math at Brockport State College. He was a self-employed painter and proud to have learned his trade from his grandfather, Norman A. Marquardt. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Richard. He will be sadly missed by his loving son Eric, sister Anne and long-time companion Darlene Westermeier. He leaves behind nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was "Grampa" to Cody, Lance, Jada and Mason. Paul (Carla) and Barbara Westermeier were also his siblings. There will be no calling hours or services. A light supper will be held at the Attica Golf Club on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 4-6 pm for those who wish to express condolences to Eric and share memories of Tom.
