Douglas A. Meyers, 63, of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday (April 21, 2017) at his residence.

He was born January 1, 1954 in Batavia, NY, son of the late Donald and Irene Duckworth Meyers.

Mr. Meyers was formerly employed with Comstock Foods in Bergen. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and researching various items on his computer. Most of all he enjoyed his family, where they were always his first priority in life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene Meyers, who passed away November 30, 2009.

Survivors include his fiancée, Pat Heaman of Batavia. Son, Michael (Ashley) Meyers of LeRoy. Daughter, Deanna Meyers of Geneva. Grandchildren, Shawn and Leah Meyers. Brother, Donnie (Sally) Meyers of Batavia. Step-mother, Norma Meyers of Batavia. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Olmsted Center for Sight, 1170 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14209.
