Claude G. Conroy, age 95, of Warsaw formerly of Perry and Mt. Morris passed away on Monday May 15, 2017 at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw where he had been residing. Claude was born in North Java, New York on April 16, 1922 a son of the late Harry and Irene (Connley) Conroy. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Knapp) who died in 2000, and a brother James Conroy.

Claude was a farmer, and later retired from LeRoy Industry. He was a member of the Mount Morris Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses in Leicester. In his younger days Claude enjoyed playing baseball in a league in Warsaw.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Gloria Conroy of Silver Springs, Claudia DeVinney of Perry, Bonnie Atkins of South Carolina, 3 sons: Paul (Mary) Conroy of Bath, Ronnie (Mary) Conroy of South Carolina, Dale (Valorie) Conroy of Mt. Morris, 2 sisters: Eleanor Kohler of Nevada, Rosemary Row of Utah1 brother: Donald Conroy of Buffalo, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 2:00-5:00PM on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, New York 14530. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at the Funeral Home.  He will be laid to rest in Silver Maple Cemetery in North Java, New York.
