Mark J. Rowinski, 65 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Sunday (June 18, 2017) at United Memorial Medical Center.

He was born February 16, 1952 in Perry, NY, a son of the late Marion and Alfreda Plaza Rowinski.

Mark enjoyed model trains and accumulated a large collection of trains over his lifetime. He was an avid fan of the Batavia Muckdogs, attending home games regularly and was a strong supporter of the Buffalo Bills, Bisons and Sabres.  He was a member of Ascension Parish in Batavia. Mark will be missed by all who knew him and the friendships he gained over the years.

He is survived by his cousin, Thomas Plaza of Sioux City, Iowa and several friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday (June 21st) from 4-6pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 11:00am at Ascension Parish (corner of Swan and Sumner Streets). Interment will follow next to his parents in St. Joseph Cemetery.
