RYAN N. DeSANTIS ~ Batavia

Age 24, died Sunday morning October 1, 2017 at home. He was born February 14, 1993 in Batavia, NY a son of Lisa DeSantis and Michael Klotzbach of Batavia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn DeSantis and paternal grandmother, Sharon Klotzbach. 

Ryan's life was MUSIC, listening, playing guitar or playing in a band, it gave him peace. He was employed by Bourbon & Burger, enjoyed skateboarding and was always happy to show off his tattoo's. Ryan will be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends and although came off  with a tough exterior, he was a mere Teddy Bear when you got to know him.           

Surviving along with his parents are his siblings, Jacqueline Klotzbach of Utica and Benjamin Klotzbach of Hilton; maternal grandfather, Nicholas DeSantis of Ft. Myers, FL; paternal grandfather, Charles Klotzbach of Corfu; his sweetheart, Sarah Ferns of NC; aunts/uncles, Lori Veltz, Linda DeSantis, Thomas Klotzbach, Patrick Klotzbach, Kathleen (Jon) Rivers, Jay (Wendy) Klotzbach, Kelly (Troy) Harlach, Elizabeth (Michael) Cipolla along with numerous cousins and friends. 

Ryan's family will be present from 4-8pm on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATON CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers will be recited 11:30am Thursday October 5 followed by a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary's Site). He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery and memorials in his memory are suggested to a drug treatment program of the donor's choice.
