Glen C. Kruger

Batavia - Glen C. Kruger, 57, of Batavia, passed away suddenly Thursday, (October 26, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester.

Mr. Kruger was born August 13, 1960 in Batavia, a son of Carl Kruger, Sr. of Batavia and the late Beatrice (Bateman) Kruger.

Glen was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Circus Model Builders, and a lifetime member of the Genesee County Agricultural Society.  He enjoyed model trains, woodworking, collecting coins and spending time with his family.

He is the husband of Rebecca (Wiatrowski) Kruger whom he married September 22, 2007.

Surviving along with his father and wife are his children, Benjamin (Veronica) Kruger of Lancaster, and Thomas (Katie) Kruger of Spencerport; step-children, Joseph (Kay) Summers of Mt. Morris, Matthew (Christina) Summers of Michigan, Noah Summers and Elysia Summers both of Alexander; brothers, Carl (Janice) Kruger, Jr. of Indiana, and Roger (Kathy) Kruger of Texas.  12 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

Glen is preceded in death by a son, Glen "Chad" Kruger.  

Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia.  Glen’s Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, (October 31, 2017) at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Ave., Batavia.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kruger Family. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
