Clarence M. "Bo" Johnson

Clarence M. “Bo” Johnson, 82, of Attica passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side on Wednesday October 25, 2017 at the New York State Veterans Home @ Batavia. He was born on July 21, 1935 in Meadville, PA., to the late Clarence and Virginia (Faulkner) Johnson. In addition to his parents, Bo is predeceased by his sister; Carolyn Ross and brothers in law Ed Johnson and James Ross.

Bo enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1953 and was discharged in 1956. He served as an Airman Medic with the 82nd & 101st Airborne divisions. He co-owned his own business Jim-Bo Dog Food with his brother in law Jim Ross. Bo drove as an over the road steel hauler until he "retired". While he was retired he drove part time for Walton's Milk Hauling until finally retiring for good when in his early 70's.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Margaret “Peggy” (Peterson) Johnson of Attica; children Dale (Lillie) Johnson of FL., C. Boyd (Laura) Johnson of Attica; brother David (Frank) Jonson of CA.; sister Lonnelle (Clifford) Sutliff of PA.; grandchildren Jay (Lisa) Gaal, Travis (Jenn) Johnson, Brianne Martin, Craig Johnson and Ryan Johnson; great-grandchildren Desiree Martin, Dallas Good and Emma Johnson; sister Barbara Johnson.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00-7:00PM on Monday October 30, 2017 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A 10:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday the 31st at the Funeral Home. Bo will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Attica 115 Main St. Attica, NY 14011 or the Attica Fire Dept. 11 Water St in Attica.
