Patricia A. Cavanaugh, 57 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Friday October 27, 2017 surrounded by her family at Strong Memorial Hospital in the palliative care unit. She was born January 22, 1960 in Stamford, CT to the late Edward (Joan Carroll) Bankowski. Mrs. Cavanaugh is preceded in death by her brother Edward Bankowski Jr.

Pattie loved her time spent working at Stafford Country Club, taking care of the flowers. She owned and operated Trishia’s Treasures, making blankets and various crafts. Pattie enjoyed kayaking working on hitting all of the Finger Lakes and shopping, trying to find the best deal. She absolutely adored her family; she was supportive of everything they chose to do and loved them with everything she had.

She is survived by her beloved husband Peter Cavanaugh of Batavia; children Jennifer (Ryan) Burke of Nashville; Christopher (Mallory) Cavanaugh of Syracuse; granddaughter Cecilia Burke; along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday November 4, 2017 at Resurrection Parish 303 East Main St. Batavia, New York 14020. She will be laid to rest in St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT.
