Gordon R. Bell

Gordon R. Bell, 79 of Akron, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (November 5, 2014) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville.
 
He was born in Clarence, NY on June 7, 1935, a son of the late Pierson and Jesse Keller Bell.
 
Gordon was formerly employed by the U.S. Gypsum and H.F.W. in Buffalo.  Mr. Bell found great enjoyment being with his family and attending his grandchildrens sports activities for several years.
 
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Judith (Filipski) Bell of Akron. Son and daughter in-law, Greg (Judith) Bell of Akron. Brother, Gary (Joan) Bell of Akron. Grandchildren, P.J. (Aimee) Bell of Snyder and Jessica Bell of Akron.
 
He was predeceased by his son, Timothy Bell.
 
Family and friends are cordially invited to share fond memories, condolences and thoughts on Friday (Nov. 7th) from 4-8pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 John St., Akron, where funeral services will be Saturday at 10am.  Interment will follow in St. Teresa’s Cemetery.
