Bruce M. Cooper

Bergen - Bruce M. Cooper, 66, of Bergen, a retired machinist at Gettinge, in Henrietta, passed away suddenly on Monday, (June 22, 2015) at his home, in Bergen.

Mr. Cooper was born March 9, 1949 in Rochester, a son of the late Paul and Helen (Mann) Cooper.

Bruce was a member of the NRA and greatly enjoyed time spent at the Firing Pin, in Bergen.  He loved everything involving mechanics and was always fixing something.  He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bruce is the husband of Mary Anne (Ferguson) Cooper, of Bergen.  The two were married April 5, 1975.

Surviving along with Mary Anne are his children, Paul (Carrie) Cooper, and Kelly Mirra both of Bergen; four grandchildren, Tyler Mirra, Matthew Cooper, Dakota Cooper, and Ryan Cooper all of Bergen; two sisters, Judy Giffard of Huntington Beach, CA, and Noreen Grant of Greece.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co., Inc., 51 South Lake Street, Bergen, where Bruce’s Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, (June 27, 2015).
