BETTY A. MOGENHAN ~ Batavia

Age 82, of Batavia, died peacefully Saturday morning December 9, 2017 at her home under the care of her loving family. She was born October 16, 1935 in Pembroke, NY to the late George W. and Verna (Butler) Henning also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Mogenhan; brothers, George, Lee, Edward and Robert and sister-in-law, Theresa Smith.

Betty was active for many years at the Methodist Church in Oakfield, Life Member and active volunteer with the Stafford Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed travelling, crafts, doll making and collecting angels. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed her four legged companions, Angel, Stinky, Samson, Squeaky, Cookie & Panda. 

Surviving are her 3 boys, her pride and joy, Brian Mogenhan, Sr. of Batavia, Todd Mogenhan of Batavia and Michael (Beth) Mogenhan of Brockport; grandchildren, Amanda Mogenhan, Brian Mogenhan, Jr. and Jonathon Mogenhan; great-granddaughter, Audryana Mae Schulman; siblings, Louis (Carrie) Henning of Batavia, Joan (Donald) Tullar of Oakfield, Linda (Glenn) Northup of Byron, Shirlene Edwards of Batavia and Mary Masiello of Batavia; sister-in-law, Arlene Henning; dear friend, Jessica Cowell along with several nieces, nephews and friends. 

Betty's family will be present from 4-8pm on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020, where funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday December 14, she will be laid to rest in with her husband in Morganville Cemetery and memorials in are suggested to the family.
