Dale graciously donated his body to the University of Rochester Anatomical Gift Program. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing and camping. Dale worked at Orcon Industries for over 16 years, a second family to Dale. Dale was very family oriented, everything revolved around the family especially his nieces and nephews – he was the “funcle” (fun-uncle) and they loved him for it.
He is survived by his loving partner Donna L. Sullivan of Attica; her daughters, Ryan Besaw, Nicole (Christopher) Dunham and grandsons, Jacob, Memphis and Sampson. His siblings Karen (David) Gottlieb of Canton, OH; Paul (Alisa) Bender of Akron; Suzanne (Michael) Fenello of Cranberry Twp., PA; Gary (Lisa) Bender of Alexander; Karl (Becky) Bender of Alexander and Todd (Kathy) Bender of Batavia. Special nieces and nephews, Gregory (Allison) Gottlieb, Alyssa (Dick) Huntwork, Rebecca Gottlieb, Tiara & Mikaela Bender, Cody (Fiancée Sam), Caitlin & Nicolette Fenello, Kara (Dan) Nash, Kayla (Mike) Machniak, Joshua & Amanda (fiancé Nick) Bender, Ryan, Lindsey and Evan Bender.
Friends are invited to call from 1 to 5 PM on Saturday April 21, 2018 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011. Dale will be laid to rest at a later date in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Attica.
