John C. Chamberlain

Albion - John C. Chamberlain, 77, of Albion, a compositer at Fix Printing Co. in Batavia, for 33 years prior to his retirement in 1990, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital.

Mr. Chamberlain was born June 5, 1940 in Batavia, a son of the late Arthur W. and Mary (Phillips) Chamberlain.

He was a member of Eagle Harbor Methodist Church and enjoyed being with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He was an avid history buff.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Calnan) Chamberlain, whom he married on October 31, 1959; 3 daughters, Linda (Anthony) Michalak, Melissa Pahuta and Heather Chamberlain all of Albion; 2 sisters, Nancy Neibel of Byron and  Beverly (Alfred) Higgins of Oakfield; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

He was the brother of the late Marvin, Milford, Roger and Robert Chamberlain.  

Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave. in Oakfield, NY where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018.  Interment will follow at Cary Cemetery in Oakfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richard Knights/Sue Kaderli Memorial Fund, P.O.
