Eleanore Ann Bialkowski

Eleanore Ann Bialkowski, 100 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday (April 21, 2018) at the Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born October 1, 1917 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Jacob and Caroline Bugansky Adamczyk.

Eleanore was a part time clerk for the former Surprise Store in Batavia for over 25 years. She was a parishioner of Ascension Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society. Eleanore enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was the wife of the late Alexander Bialkowski and sister of the late Henry Adamczyk,  Stanley Adamczyk, Helen Luplow, Jennie Wiktorski and four siblings from Poland, Frank, John, Stefa, and Sofia.

Survivors include her son, F. Robert (Madeline) Bialkowski of Batavia and daughter, Sandra O’Geen of E. Bethany.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Robert Paul Bialkowski of Ohio, Shelley O’Geen (James) Rzepka of Depew, Kristie O’Geen (Steve) Campbell of Batavia and Douglas (Erika Wilkins) O’Geen of Rochester; 8 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Garrett and Cayden Rzepka, Kaylina, Kenley, Kasiana and Chase Campbell, Ellianna O’Geen and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Wednesday (April 25th) from 5-8pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10:00am at Ascension Parish (S. Swan St.). Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

The Ascension Parish Rosary Society will recite the rosary on Wednesday, 4:30pm at the funeral home.
