Clarence E. "Clink" Hartrick

Clarence E. “Clink” Hartrick, 94, of Alexander, passed away on April 27, 2018, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. He was born on June 6, 1923, in Batavia, to the late Edward F. and Emma (Kolb) Hartrick. In addition to his parents, Clarence is predeceased by his loving wife Mary (Kolberg) Hartrick who passed away on September 23, 2013, brothers George and Vincent Hartrick and sister Isabelle Schoenemann.

Mr. Hartrick worked as a diesel mechanic at Trailways Bus Company in Batavia. He previously worked as a farmer, and enjoyed repairing lawnmowers.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law Gladys Hartrick of Batavia and Leona Kolberg of Attica, along with several nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to Clink’s special friends, including the management and

employees of Burger King in Attica, who helped him both physically and emotionally in the years following Mary’s death.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday May 2, 2018, from 5:00-7:00PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, New York 14011.  A 10:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at the Alexander United Methodist Church 10540 Main Street, Alexander, NY 14005. Clarence will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
