Paul F. Worth, 86, of Rochester, formerly of Batavia entered into rest on Sunday August 30, 2015 in Unity Hospital, Rochester.  He was born in Lockport New York August 12, 1929 to the late Linus and Harriett Johnson Worth. Paul is predeceased by his wife Rose (Olivieri) Worth, daughter Candace Worth, brothers Gerald and Jack Worth, sister Virginia Worth and brother in law Frank Olivieri.

Paul was a grocer having worked over 60 years for  Loblaws and Top Supermarkets. He was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Glenn S. Loomis Post #332 American Legion. He was a former member of Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph’s). Paul loved to work and he especially loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Penny (John) Pratt of Sumter, SC, sisters-in-law Margaret “Maggie” Worth and Lucille Olivieri both of Batavia. 3 grandchildren Amy (Adam) Mefford, Caitlin (Joseph) Kepler, Erin (Tyler Stuck) Pratt all of S.C., special friend Rose Porter of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc., 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia NY 14020. A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at Resurrection Parish, 303 East Main Street, Batavia.

Entombment will take place in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
