Charles J. Rogers, 84, of Attica passed away August 30, 2015 at Hurlbut Nursing Home in Rochester. He was born December 2, 1930 in Pitcairn, PA to the late William F. (Ruth Jae) Rogers. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ruth (Smith) Rogers; brothers Glenn and Lloyd Rogers and sister Lorraine Scarton.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean War where he received 2 Bronze Stars. After leaving the military Charles became an owner/operator of Rogers Transport in Attica, he also owned a local Dairy Farm in Attica and throughout the years was also a mechanic for Alden Trucks.

He is survived by his sisters Shirley Kemerer of PA, Jean Rossi of PA; nephews/godsons Charles (Nancy) Rogers of Darien Center and Michael (Mary) Rogers of Attica along with several other nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 6-8 at Marley Funeral Home, LLC 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. Funeral Services will be held in Pennsylvania. He will be laid to rest in Hills Church Cemetery in Export PA.
