Topic of video/presentation at Stafford Town Hall: Buffalo Olmsted Parks and Parkway System

Frederick Law Olmsted is considered the father of American landscape architecture. To the west of us in Buffalo, Olmsted designed our country's first parks and parkways systen, which connects a group of parks.

Guest Speaker: Brian Dold, director of Planning & Advocacy of Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, will present a video on Olmsted's parks and his designed ideas.

We will have a guest speaker,  Pietro Furqiuele, Landscaper and Horticulturist at Waterford Tilling, Penfield, NY.  Mr Furqiuele will be talking on an array of subjects like landscape design, planting a garden in the shade and other topics related to landscaping.
