The Feds want to help you get rid of unwanted prescription drugs

posted by Billie Owens in DEA, national prescription drug take-back day.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and its national and community partners will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, the DEA and its partners will hold their second National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at sites nationwide. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

The public can find a nearby collection site by visiting <http://www.dea.gov>, clicking on the “Got Drugs?” icon, and following the links to a database, where they enter their zip code.

Law enforcement agencies interested in operating one or more collection sites on April 30 can register with the DEA by calling the DEA Field Division office in their area.

(To see each division office’s geographic area of responsibility, go to <http://www.dea.gov> and click on the “office locations” link under “About Us” in the menu on the left side of the home page.)

Will they have extra police to direct traffic during the rush periods?

Is this some sort of joke? How about we forget paying DEA overtime to work on a Saturday and just flush your unwanted pills down the toilet... BAM! Tax dollars saved!

Another brilliant plan from the regime of Barack Hussein Obama, the President of hope and change. Just imagine, all this time I have been flushing mine down the toilet.

When your toilet gets plugged up, give me a call so I can sell you a new one.

If you're flushing enough pills down the toilet to plug it up then you probably have cops busting your door down. A new toilet is probably the least of your worries at that point.

Hey Ricky, how hard is it to replace a washer on my drippy kitchen sink? Stinkin' Home Depot, it's less than six years old, but I'm ten years older since then and I had to get a friend to help me the last time. Racka fracka, harumph!

Angelo, How would I know who's gay and who is straight unless they told me? And why would I care if they did tell me? They only time a gay man ever hit on me I said: "Sorry dude, I have a girlfriend." and that was the end of it. It was much like the time I asked a beautiful college coed out and she said: "Sorry George, I have a girlfriend." That didn't mean we couldn't smoke a joint, drink a beer and still chill, either time. Expand your consciousness beyond Genesee County. If you don't, you are doomed and you brought it on yourself.
