Two dogs locked in car in Denny's parking lot

By Billie Owens

Two dogs are reportedly locked inside a vehicle parked outside of Denny's restaurant on Main Street in Batavia. An animal control officer is called to respond. It's about 83 degrees.

Smash the window and run as fast as you can. Next time mind your own business. The stinking cellphone epidemic makes everyone a vigilante rat. Get a landline you crazy snipper snappers and give me a like. I like you.

I'm getting tired of stupid people. I wish animal control would take possession of these animals and find them a responsible owner. Fine to take your pet for a ride, but don't stop and leave them locked in your vehicle!!!

Words of wisdom: You can get a cup of coffee and be gone before the lazy bums at animal control will ever think about doing anything about it. It all pays the same and they can't see the problem from their house.

thank god some people dont mind their own business george...maybe if they did these two dogs would be dead from heat exhaustion. I'm pretty sure if they were in denny's that they were probably going to be longer than 10 or 15 minutes

Yeah, they 'probably' were. But, you never know.
There's been a couple times when I was driving thru Batavia and got a sudden 'call of nature'. Now, I suppose I could've driven the 13 miles back home to relieve myself, but, I chose to stop into the 1st fast food place and use their facilities.

Theft of services? Maybe. (I usually bought a cup of coffee, after doing my thing -'cause I felt obliged to). But, not always. I figure that's better than peeing my pants.
