Got mice? Healthy, sterilized, vaccinated feral cats need shelter

By Billie Owens

Help! A large colony of feral cats needs to be relocated. They are losing their food source. The cats need a place with shelter and food and Winter is nipping at their paws.

Healthy, sterilized and vaccinated cats are available. They will earn their keep by helping control the rodent population. Taking just one to two cats would be a huge help.

This is a great thing, people who actually care about the stray cats in Batavia. Over the past few weeks I have seen quite a few of these poor animals, cold and paniced knowing winter is coming. Candy O'Connell from Batavia(last I knew) was also helping cats, and kittens. She rescued a few behind Alex's Place that were sick and homeless a few years back, as well as many others.
Also anyone with a dog or animal outside, PLEASE provide them with a warm place to sleep. Just picture yourselves out there freezing, in sub zero temps. This is one thing that has always bothered me. I make it my mission to drive around and search out animals who aren't being cared for correctly. I call the authorities, and hope action is taken. So Love Your Pets ya'll, keep them warm, fed, and give them plenty of water, and shelter. Please......
