Batavia's Little League All Stars put up a heck of a fight in a seesaw battle that hung in the balance until the final out, but the District Championship victory still went to Geneseo, 9-8.

Thank you for the great coverage, Howard. We have been at every game and watched all the boys play their best. They are a great group of boys and coaches (parents/family as well)and we are very proud of their accomplishments. It is sad that they lost but they played hard and represented Batavia with honor.
Any time you get a chance to
Any time you get a chance to play for a championship, it's an accomplishment. You always want to win, of course, and any coach will tell you, never feel satisfied with second best, but the boys can still hold their heads high.
