Crime Wave! Kids and Snow Balls!

By Howard B. Owens

There have been at least three complaints around the city today, and one elsewhere in the county, of kids throwing snowballs -- at cars, at businesses, at people and at a house.

A window was broken.

Just saying ...

We used to throw snowballs at cop cars and then hide under Pine Trees and suck up the adrenaline rush. It was a natural high at its very finest. I hope kids are still doing it, for the same excellent reasons.

Yeah for all the Batavia utes the best place for tossing snowballs at cars is behind the stone fence near main and harvester. We got chased a few times by the cops and all we did is just keep crossing the street back and forth and they couldn't get across because of the traffic had freakin riot. We'd usually end up polgating (thats hanging on to the rear car bumper and skiing behind it in a sitting position)down main to the Y to hook up with all the other Y rats.

Throwing snowballs at cars is an age-old tradition. It's Okay to play the game as long as you're willing to pay the price when you get caught. The price of a windshield could be very expensive.
