Police Beat: Oakfield resident accused of stealing mail

By Howard B. Owens

Paula J. Legg, 43, of South Pearl Street, Oakfield, is charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Legg is accused of stealing mail in the presence of a child.

Tara Pariso

stealing mail is a crime and any time you commit a crime in front of a child you can be charged with endagering as well. It may sound superficial, but at least the law is looking out for this kid!

Howard, why do you take down all my posts, and let Lorie spout off at will? Just a little one sided isn't it?
Lorie I can prove it, I have over 350 pages of documentation to back up all I have said.
Howard,if you prefer I didn't post here, come out and say so, don't just delete my posts. After all, this isn't the only game in town.

Frank, don't edit your posts so they're one-line insults at other people and I won't delete them.

Don't insult other people and I won't delete them.

And as I've told you before, so long as you make yourself the subject rather than the subject being the subject, it's very much a gray area as to whether to delete posts when people respond to you critically.

If you're going to post about yourself, you just have to accept and expect that people are going to make you a target. If you don't want to be a target, don't post about yourself.

I understood that,my posts were no more vicious than those pointed at me. So let me get this straight, because of the content of my posts, it is ok to attack me, and because of what I post, I can't retaliate. Still looks one sided.

Frank, why are you so consumed w/me? I barely even post here because I have a job. Do you? If you do not have a job, does it have anything to do with the fact that you argue with everyone? Everyone is wrong but you, wow how convenient that you (according to you) are always right and they are always wrong and YOU HAVE PROOF. So post your proof already.

No, my proof will be presented when it counts. I argue with you, because you talk out of both sides of your mouth. You berated me, post after post, simply because I don't agree with getting morally upset because some idiot flips me off. And then, after the mother theresa show, you come out and call a former police officer a jerkwad, sounds like someone could be a bit of hypocrite. And I have been wrong many, many times, and have no problem admitting it. I think I have to admit another wrong, trying to have a discussion with biased, self rightious folks on this site. Like I said in my previous post, I have over 350 pages of proof, and 30 - 40 Emails I saved to fuel the fire. The state of N.Y. agreed with me in its findings, when against all odds, even lawyers told me I couldn't win, but I did. So yes Lorie, I believe when the time comes, I will be able to substaniate most, if not all of my claims.

Frank,
Stop whining. You are the one who originally implied you had no problem with people flipping off others, including the police. True, later you explained what you meant, but it took you awhile to make it clear. You even implied flipping people off makes you laugh so hard you have to pull your car over while driving.

You put your kid out there all the time, and cry if your version of this story is questioned. Then you have a hissy fit and say your leaving this site (I hope you don't), then say you need time outs. If a blog gets you so upset you need time outs, then what are we to think?

John, stop calling me a whiner, howard, john's name calling. And is it wrong that I find this whole gesture thing to be comedic, as I stated before, anger is an emotion, we control our own emotions, when we suggest others control them, we are out of control. I don't take timeouts from this site John, I believe I implied it had to do with what I call stinkin thinkin. Are you Lories guardian today? And I won't post about my kid anymore, I will however point out what I feel is wrong, and I really don't give a damn what you or Lorie, or any other post patroler thinks. I also don't recall crying, John, like I stated previously, I can back up what I have said. I think thats more than you or Lorie can do, when you attack others post because it may have been in agreement with someone either of you like, or calling your mutual friend what he is labeled as.
As I recall John, you had asked me questions that somewhat brought out some of my aledged whinning, and victimization, and whatever other labels you and mother theresa have come up with.
And I'll say it again John, my feelings do not , and will not be hurt because some idiot flips me off. I have no control over that person, or their actions. But I won't let them occupy space in my head over a simple gesture, regardless of what it is intended to suggest.
