Today's Poll: Which major U.S. city would you most like to visit?

I like Luckenbach, but it's a former minor stop on the rounds of the Pony Express, not a major city. Toronto is wonderful though, and Amsterdam! I don't mind puking on the plane for Amsterdam. I've puked on every plane I can remember and I remember, because it's so hard to forget.

Of the cities on this list, I like Chicago the most. If I could pick any city to spend time in or even move to someday when my bones can't take the winters anymore, it would be Tucson, AZ. Tucson is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S..

George, I totally agree...Toronto is my favorite city to visit. It is clean, people are friendly, the subway is clean and feels safe. I have heard these same comments from many other people.

Went to NYC just before 911 and found people to be rude...pushing and complaining about tourists. Plus it is filthy there...had to go wash my ankles in Macy's because they had rings of filth on them.

Have been to Chicago and loved it.

Lorie,

You would be pleasantly surprised by NYC current day. Not as filthy as it use to be. Some of the people are still rude. All the people on the subway are still rude though.

LOL @ all the people on the subway are still rude though. Well, probably because they have bed bugs. Glad to hear NYC has gotten cleaner, anyway. I just absolutely HATE litter!
