Today's Poll: Which of these recent proposals will do more to stimulate the economy?

By Howard B. Owens

DOUGLAS MCCLURG

I always vote before I see the general consensus.
I voted neither and was with the majority.
How about less regulation on existing small and new upstart companies.
After all.It should be all about creating jobs, getting people out of the system.Getting working people to contribute to the tax base.
JOBS=TAXES=RECOVERY
60 billion on Infrastructure will help the Union work force, but what about the small simple guy.
Tax credits get abused and are soaked up by, once again large union companies.
Although we're on the right track If we're truly trying to pull out of the Mideast

Neither is not an answer to the question. The question has only two answers. A or B. Selecting anything else means you need better reading comprehension.

I don't care if infrastructure jobs are all union, half union or non union, the jobs need to be created because the infastructure needs serious repairs. Bridges aren't meant to collapse, sewer systems are supposed to contain the sewage, clean water delivery is a necessity that has to be paid for, not a gift from Allah. Local governments are doing a poor job and state governments aren't even trying, so bring it on Obama. "Gobama, Probama, Yo'mama! 2012" TM-Geo2010.
I'm patriotic, I'm not a patriot and neither are any of you.

"Neither" is a good choice if you have to borrow money you don't have, on top of what both parties have already done. Both A & B will involve borrowing money.

Sooner or later, you have to raise taxes to pay for the borrowing, that will kill jobs and undo any good that took place.

If they would actually cut spending to pay for the new spending (which they promised), then I'd go with both A & B. But you know they won't.

No relation.

This is a one-off. Hopefully, the poll will work correctly tomorrow. The regular poll code wasn't working this morning.

our infrasture is falling apart is should have been repaired years ago. look at the highway system. most of it was designed during world war 2 to move supplies from factories to the vaious ports and ment to resemble the auto bahn which is way off and the bridges that were built were built for vehicles of that time not todays 40-50 ton semis on the road today. and most of it would be done by non union companies who won the contracts for the job. unlike batavia redoing main st and giving the bid to and out of town company. regardless of cost keep it local itllpay off in the long run wether through taxes or the workers spending the money in the town theyre working it. voting neither is like voting for a thrid party canidate. you know your throwing your vote in the sewer but for some reason people do it anyway
