Person claims to be trapped in bathroom by aggressive dogs at residence, owner can't be reached

By Howard B. Owens

A caller at a residence on Wood Street, Batavia, reports being trapped in a bathroom by two large, very aggressive dogs.

The caller told dispatchers that the owner works at a business in the City of Batavia but when dispatchers attempted to call that chain store,  a person at the store claims nobody that name works at that business.

Law enforcement is dispatched.

If the owner of the dogs works at a chain store like Walmart or target then it would be easy for an employee at those stores to not know the names of all there co-workers because of how many people work at those stores every day. Only the store manager would be able to confirm or deny if a specific person works there.

So just curious why is someone in a bathroom with 2 aggressive dogs trying to get at him?
Whose bathroom is it the caller or the dog owner? If it is the caller's bathroom why are the dogs in his house, if it is the dog owner's bathroom, why is the caller in the someone else's bathroom.

Howard, thanks for sharing the store was smaller than the ones I was thinking of in my first comment.

Kevin, there could be many reasons why the caller would be in the dog owners house or the dogs would be in the callers home. Without knowing more about the situation it would be hard to answer your questions.
