Election Results: Updated (All Counties)

By Philip Anselmo

We've still got plenty of precincts that have yet to report, but in many races, we're past the half way point and we're looking at growing leads for Republicans Mike Ranzenhofer and Chris Lee. Ranzenhofer leads Democrat Joe Mesi 29,049 to 27,483 in Erie County. Lee leads Kryzan 78,301 to 57,615 throughout the district, according to the Democrat & Chronicle.

The margin is breaking down along the district's registration lines ... so Lee's throwback strategy of negative "liberal trial lawyer" ads against Kryzan and platitudes on cutting taxes and creating jobs was just the ticket to win the 26th.

Chris Lee seems like a good guy. He should make a fine representative in tough circumstnaces. I just wish we could have gotten to know him better during the campaign.

It could have been the DNC negative ads that killed off Alice. Who ever came up with the Chris Lee was fired line at the last minute did Alice no good. Even if the charge is true, the way it came out, and at the last minute, made it look like a stunt. The China thing the national DNC lied about did not help either.

Chris told and/or his side told lies also. It just seems the side that lied the most lost.

We will get to see what Chris Lee is about now..Glad to see this is finially over..No more lawn signs,no more robo calls,no more junk mail saying vote for me,and no more TV ads painting one side as evil and one side as good..All i have to do now is wait for Obama to give me my tax break..

The argument for a tax cut: economic stimulus.

The argument against: $10 trillion in debt.

It will be interesting to see if the Democrats can govern as well as they campaign.
