Corwin campaign announces robo calls from retired Army colonel

By Howard B. Owens

Press release:

WILLIAMSVILLE – Rep. Allen West (R-FL), a retired United States Army Lieutenant Colonel, called Western New York voters today in support of Jane Corwin for Congress. Rep. West, an active leader in the Tea Party movement, also recorded a phone call to about 30,000 households across Western New York’s 26th Congressional District. He is one of 20 military veterans <http://janecorwin.com/posts/corwin-endorsed-by-20-military-veterans-in-congress>  in this year’s House Freshman class that have endorsed Corwin.

In his Army career, Congressman West has been honored many times, including a Bronze Star, three Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals (one with Valor), and a Valorous Unit Award. He is serving his first term in Congress.

“Congressman West is an American Patriot and I am honored to have his support for Congress,” Corwin said. “Congressman West knows that I will be a strong voice for veterans in Washington and will fight to cut spending and reduce taxes for all Western New York taxpayers. I look forward to working alongside Congressman West and hitting the ground running in Washington.”

What a transparent attempt at damage control if you ask me. The only thing she needs to do now to make it really show that she's hurting image wise is to leak that she spent 5 million of her own money for Congressman West's little phonecall LOL

This is the best Jane Corwin can do to try to repair the damage done by Michael Mallia her chief-of-staff and his attempt to provoke a confrontation with Jack Davis calling him a coward at an event held to honor local veterans who lost their lives while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Robo-calls from some Florida Republican.

If Corwin and her crew want to restore her credibility with veterans here in NY-26 she needs to provide the second video tape and make Mallia available to answer a few questions rather than covering for the clowns running her campaign who have put her in the position of being compared to Jane Fonda.

"Jane will be a fighter on Capitol Hill to preserve Medicare for our future generations.” Allan West's robocall into our district.

But this is what Allan West robocaller for Jane Corwin in NY 26 said at a Town Hall back in his district in Fla -- "I will take my hands off Medicare when there is no Medicare"

The double speak will continue until the last moment. Corwin's campaign imploded days ago. They are still depending on the loyal GOP to cast their votes for her regardless of what she says.
