Genesee Chorale performs program 'The Call of Humanity' at St. James church in Batavia

The Genesee Chorale is sounding “The Call of Humanity” through music at concerts scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, at St. James Episcopal Church, 405 E. Main St., Batavia, and 4 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Pavilion High School Auditorium. The HS auditorium is located at 7014 Big Tree Road, Pavilion.

The program -- selected by director Ric Jones draws from poets, Scripture and freedom songs -- invites listeners to be a part of something larger, and includes a selection composed especially for the Chorale by international composer Daniel Baldwin.

Tickets for each concert are $8 presale, either from any Chorale member or online at geneseechorale.com. They will also be available at the door for $10.
