Want to learn how to communicate well in any situation, whether you are a blue-collar worker, stay-at-home mom, a student or retiree? Interested in learning the fine art of communication in a nonjudgmental atmosphere, where everyone is your peer, assignments are designed for self-paced learning, and effort is always applauded?

If so, you are invited to attend the next meeting of "Speak Up Toastmasters," a Batavia-based club that is part of Toastmasters International. The group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:15 p.m sharp. Meetings usually last about an hour to 90 minutes.

Tuesday's meeting will take place at the Richmond Memorial Library, at 19 Ross St. in Batavia. Guests are welcome to attend free of charge, but there is a membership fee for those who join the club.
